Preservatives & Functional Base
Both formulas also contain a minimal, well-studied preservative system (Phenoxyethanol 0.30%; Sodium Benzoate 0.30% in CALM only) to ensure safety and shelf stability. Disodium EDTA (0.10%) is included as a chelating agent — it binds mineral ions from hard water that would otherwise destabilise the formula. Purified Water (IS:10500) is the solvent base for both products. Texture agents (Xanthan Gum, Ceto Stearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 20) ensure consistent product performance and feel.

The science behind what we built
Our skin has its own defence systems – ceramides, natural moisturising factor, an acid mantle, antioxidant enzymes. Sophisticated, self-regulating, and real.
But they have limits. And everyday skin reaches them daily. Hard water disrupts pH after every wash. Harsh surfactants deplete the lipid matrix faster than it replenishes. Urban pollution overwhelms antioxidant capacity. And melanin, designed to protect, triggers hyperpigmentation at the first sign of irritation.
These aren’t skin failures. They are predictable responses to conditions skin was never built to face at this intensity.
